Run coaching.

For runners, here's what I provide in a coaching relationship:

  • Client intake questionnaire on athletic history, running goals and more,.

  • Initial meeting (face-to-face or Zoom) to review athletic and running history, injury history, past training, and to understand your status, schedule, and goals.

  • Video assessment (live if local) of your running form (if video is supplied).

  • Monthly detailed run training schedule, adapted to your goals, abilities, and situation, including results of recent workouts and races, which you will need to keep me up-to-date on. (I use TrainingPeaks, which makes writing, reporting on, and analyzing workouts easy, especially for those who already use Garmin Connect or Strava.)

  • Availability by text, email, and phone to answer questions, address issues, and provide guidance as needed, on topics including race strategy, heart rate training, recovery, injury prevention, fueling and hydration, and more.

  • Bonus training resources from time to time, such as descriptions of stretches, guidance on speed training, recovery, and marathon prep.

Fee: $110 a month, plus $9 a month for a TrainingPeaks Premium subscription.

Triathlon coaching.

For triathletes, here's what I provide in a coaching relationship:

  • Client intake questionnaire on athletic history, triathlon goals, and more.

  • Initial meeting (face-to-face or Zoom) to review athletic and triathlon history, injury history, past training, and to understand your status, schedule, and goals.

  • Video assessment (live if local) of your running form, bike fit and form, and swim stroke (if video is supplied).

  • Monthly detailed triathlon training schedule, adapted to your goals, abilities, and situation, including results of recent workouts and races, which you will need to keep me up-to-date on. (I use TrainingPeaks, which makes writing, reporting on, and analyzing workouts easy, especially for those who already use Garmin Connect or Strava.)

  • Availability by text, email, and phone to answer questions, address issues, and provide guidance as needed, on topics including race strategy, heart rate training, recovery, injury prevention, fueling and hydration, and more.

  • Bonus training resources from time to time, such as descriptions of stretches, guidance on speed training, race checklists, recovery, and pre-race prep.

Fee: $165 a month, plus $9 a month for a TrainingPeaks Premium subscription.
